The refugehe is not equipped of the so-called "winter place", so when it is not guarded it is not possible to take shelter safely. Plan your excursions accordingly.

We anyway we advise against always visit the area while the refuge is closed.

General information

The Refuge is not connected to no type of network.

We have no electricity, we use a petrol generator and try to use it as little as possible.

We don't have methane, we bring the LPG cylinders from the valley.

We don't have running water, a small spring allows us to continue but usually abandons us around mid-July, then we are forced to pump water from a spring further down the valley (reached on foot).

Managing everything in these conditions is not very simple, we ask you to have patience. Not to expect too much and to to respect the few and precious resources that the mountain offers us. The spirit must be that of theadaptation. With a free mind you will forget every problem and enjoy living a unique experience.
